The Mira Mesa 4th of July Celebration is presented by Scripps Mesa Fireworks and the Mira Mesa Town Council. The 45-year tradition allows Mira Mesa to come together in celebration of Independence Day and our rich and diverse community.

Scripps Mesa Fireworks is a non-profit 501 (C)(3) corporation with a board that is made up of local volunteers who donate their time to put the show together. The fireworks show is funded by businesses and residents of the area (not by the City, County, State, Etc.).
